Day 1: Arrival in Victoria Falls
At noon you will land at the International Airport not far from the impressive Victoria Falls.
On site, you will be warmly welcomed by a staff member of our partner agency in Africa and transferred to your lodge.
Use the afternoon to relax by the pool from your flight.
Day 2: Optional: Helicopter Flight over the Falls & Sundowner Cruise
Today I can offer you two optional excursions. After breakfast, you will be picked up by a helicopter near your lodge and take off to experience the full splendor of the mighty waterfalls during the legendary “Flight of the Angels”.
Afterwards, set out on a guided tour to explore flora & fauna on a hike through the rainforest.
In the evening, take a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. While you enjoy exquisite hors d’oeuvres, the African sun sinks into the horizon.
Hotel: Ilala Lodge - 2 Nights
Walking through the green gardens of "Ilala Lodge", you can already feel the fine spray of the Victoria Falls in the air. The impressive wonder of the world can be reached on foot in only about 20 minutes. The hotel impresses with a perfectly coordinated mix of styles from the stately colonial era and modern, stylish accents. At the hotel's own The Palm Restaurant, you can indulge in authentic African cuisine over dinner under the endless starry sky while listening to the distant sound of Victoria Falls.

Day 3: Chobe Nationalpark & Boat safari
After breakfast, you will make your way to the Chobe National Park by overland transfer. Here, breathtaking encounters with the legendary Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and cheetah) and other unique experiences await you.
You will reach the first stop of your safari adventure late at noon. 120,000 elephants are registered in the national park. Huge herds share the waterholes with lions, zebras, impalas, buffalos and giraffes. So you are sure of great animal sightings on the afternoon safari.
Day 4: On game drives in the Chobe National Park
Your second day in Chobe National Park is also dedicated to game drives.
In the early morning you will drive out into the vastness of the national park in an open 4×4 off-road vehicle.
In the evening hours you will go on a sundowner boat trip on the Chobe River.
You will not only witness the awakening of the wilderness but also the first nocturnal animals. With a little luck you will encounter elephants and huge herds of buffalo.

The Chobe Game Lodge is located in the famous Chobe National Park and is the perfect base for exploring the national park and the Chobe River. This five-star lodge is built on sustainability and has even been awarded for it. Standard Rooms
The newly remodeled and decorated standard rooms have been enlarged and open onto a spacious terrace overlooking the Chobe River. Day 5: The Savute Region
The early bird gets the worm – already at dawn you will start for today’s game drive.
Afterwards you will return to your lodge for breakfast. Afterwards you will drive to Kasane from where you will take a short charter flight to the airstrip of your lodge in the Savute area, which is located in another part of the Chobe National Park.
In the afternoon you will arrive at your lodge in the Savute area and will have a short time to freshen up before going on your first safari in this part of the Chobe National Park.
You will spend the evening relaxing with an authentic dinner at your lodge – accompanied by the sounds of the bush at night.
Day 6: Game drives in the Savute Region
Again, two spectacular game drives await you today.
Savute stretches along the northern border of Chobe National Park to the banks of the Linyanti River. The lush vegetation of the area is home to the famous Big Five as well as a variety of other African animals. Savute is also famous for its bull elephants and a special pride of lions that specialize in hunting the gray giants.
Hotel: Savute Safari Lodge - 2 Nights
In the shade of ancient camel thorn trees, "Savute Safari Lodge" is situated on the banks of the dry Savuti Channel. Traditional materials such as wood and reed underline the authentic African style, which enters into a successful symbiosis with wide glass fronts that provide a view of the picturesque landscape including the waterhole. The combination of understated luxury and nature experience is highlighted by a pool as well as a viewing deck on the roof of the main building, making Savuti Safari Lodge one of the most beautiful in Botswana.
Standard Chalet
To ensure a private and relaxing environment, Savute Safari Lodge houses only eleven thatched chalets built from locally sourced timber. The chalets are elegantly furnished in calm, neutral tones and blend in with the natural surroundings. They feature a large private terrace, a combined sleeping and living area, and a private bathroom.

Day 7: Okavango Delta
After the early morning game drive followed by breakfast, you will transfer to your lodge’s airstrip and take off towards the evergreen waterways of the breathtaking Okavango Delta.
Around noon, you will land at your lodge’s airstrip in the Moremi Game Reserve, located in the eastern part of the Delta. Relax over lunch before departing for your first game drive in the fabulous Okavango Delta. On this adventurous drive look out for the Big Five, numerous other land animals and especially many birds and get to know their home from the most beautiful side.
Day 8-9: Game drives in the Okavango Delta
In addition to the classic two game drives that are on today’s program, the branching waterways of the Delta offer the ideal conditions for a boat trip. I will be happy to advise you on the activities offered by your lodge. Besides the wetlands, Moremi also has dry ecosystems – this interplay offers optimal conditions for an unparalleled flora and fauna.
Hotel: Camp Xakanaxa - 3 Nights
The unique location of "Xakanaxa Camp" makes this accommodation one of the most authentic and breathtaking places in the Moremi Game Reserve. It is situated directly on the Khwai River, in the center of the reserve and therefore offers water safaris all year round. The traditionally furnished tents invite you to relax after spending your day in the Botswana wilderness.
Meru Luxury Safari Tents
The camp houses eleven spacious luxury safari tents in the classic Meru style, all with en-suite shower, hand basin and toilet. Each tent is situated on the edge of the lagoon and has a private viewing deck with comfortable deck chairs. Camp Xakanaxa is one of the few camps in Botswana that still offers the essence of a classic tented camp.

Day 10: Game drive in the Okavango Delta & Departure
Early in the morning you will depart for your last game drive in the Okavango Delta. After about 3 hours you will return to the lodge for breakfast before taking a charter flight to the airport in Maun.
Here it is time to say goodbye to Africa – with plenty of memories of a journey with impressive encounters in your luggage.
