After arrival at Cape Town International Airport in Cape Town, your German/English-speaking tour guide will be waiting for you. Relax and start your golf trip through this beautiful and diverse country. Immediately after landing, your route takes you to Clifton for a light lunch at “The Bungalow” restaurant.

Then transfer to the hotel at the V & A Waterfront.

The first round of golf starts at the “Clovelly Golf Club”, one of the most beautiful courses in the Cape region and located in the picturesque Clovelly Valley in the midst of nature.

The gently undulating terrain is bordered by fynbos-covered mountains on the north side and sand dunes in the south. In some places, the course overlooks the Indian Ocean. The fairways of the Clovelly Golf Course are narrow and require relatively accurate tee shots. Complicating matters is often a strong wind that pushes into the Clovelly valley from nearby False Bay.
The 9th hole is considered the most difficult par 5 in the entire Cape area.

Today’s golf game takes place on the “Royal Cape Golf Course” in the shadow of Table Mountain.

This golf course is the oldest golf course in South Africa and was already founded in 1885. Old trees, six water hazards, numerous bunkers and narrow fairways require precision. The Royal Golf Club has hosted the SA Open 10 times.

Today you will explore the interesting surroundings of Cape Town. A full day Cape Peninsula tour will take you to fascinating places: Cape Point, Boulders Beach, Chapman`s Peak and much more. At Boulder`s Beach you will meet the cute penguins and the Chapman’s Peak Drive will take you towards the Cape of Good Hope to the most southwestern point of South Africa.
Lunch at the “Harbour House” Restaurant.

Dinner today will be at the “Gold Restaurant”. Enjoy a traditional African feast with 14 courses and experience rousing musical performances. Feel the heartbeat of Africa with the sounds of marimbas and djembes.

After breakfast you will visit the world famous Table Mountain. The ride up Table Mountain takes only 5 minutes on the famous “Table Mountain Cableway”, a rotating cable car.

Afterwards, the journey takes you along the coast to your next destination: Hermanus. Enjoy the scenic route and indulge in lunch at “Bientang’s Cave” restaurant in the beautiful coastal town. Between July and November, whales cavort in the bay in this area, which can be wonderfully observed from the cliffs in Hermanus.

Today begins with a round of golf at the “Arabella Golf Course”.

The Arabella Golf Course is picturesquely located between the Kogelberg Mountains and the Bot River Lagoon and incorporates the beauty of nature into the golf game. The championship golf course was designed by renowned architect Peter Matkovich and ranked among the top 10 in the country after just one year. Rolling hills, wide fairways, extremely large greens, as well as many water hazards and a strong wind invite golfers of all handicaps to play.

Today you will travel to the tranquil wine growing areas around Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second oldest town and fantastically surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges and world-famous vineyards, is known for its oak-lined avenues, Cape Dutch architecture, history and culture – and, of course, its Wine Route.

Walking around Franschhoek, you can discover small wine shops, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and art galleries. At Boschendal Wine Farm, you’ll take part in the legendary “Rose Garden Picnic” at lunch and have the opportunity to enjoy some of the region’s wines.
After this eventful day you will drive to your hotel De Zalze Lodge in Stellenbosch, where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Distance: approx. 100 km, approx. 90 minutes driving time, depending on traffic conditions.

The fourth round of golf in the Cape region you will play today on the “Erinvale Golf Course”.

The course, designed by Gary Player, offers spectacular views of False Bay and the foothills of the Hottentots mountain range to the east. The first 9 holes are in the valley and are relatively easy to play despite the many bunkers and water hazards. The holes 10 to 18 are on mountainous terrain.

Dinner at “Tokara Wine Estate”.

This is an award-winning restaurant that is one of the world’s 50 best newly discovered restaurants. A wide selection of wines from their own estate as well as other South African wineries are available for enjoyment. Inside the restaurant, a variety of paintings by internationally renowned artist William Kentrigde are on display.

In the morning you will play a round of golf on the “De Zalze Golf Course”.

The course was designed by Peter Matkovich. Many water hazards, huge fairway and deep green bunkers give the golfer a hard time. Spectacular is the tee shot from a tee, which is located on an island.

Today you will leave the southern part of South Africa and fly from Cape Town International Airport to Johannesburg to OR Tambo International Airport.

You will then travel by bus to Sun City. It is the largest amusement center in the southern hemisphere and the South African answer to Las Vegas; a mix of nature, sports and adventure.

Distance: approx. 200 km, approx. 3 hours driving time, depending on traffic conditions.

The first round of golf in Sun City is played on the “Lost City Golf Course”.

The course – like the neighboring Gary Player Golf Course – was designed by South Africa’s golfing veteran Gary Player. The Lost City Golf Course is long, difficult and beautiful and must be counted among the world’s best. The course contains a number of water hazards, including a lake. The most dangerous body of water is found at hole 13 (directly on the green), because there are lots of crocodiles, some of them over two meters long.

One last time you play golf in South Africa and that is on the “Gary Player Golf Course”.

Like the Lost City Golf Course, it is one of the best golf courses in South Africa and was built in 1979. The famous Million Dollar Tournament takes place here every year. The fairways are immaculate and wide, but there are quite a few devastating bunkers and water hazards as well as blind pins. With a length of 7000 meters it is one of the longest courses in the world.

As an ideal conclusion to your trip, today you can experience the fascinating wildlife and nature of South Africa with an early morning game drive in Pilanesberg National Park. After the safari, you can enjoy the Palace’s varied breakfast buffet one last time.

Around noon, you will travel by bus to OR Tambo International Airport and then begin your journey home.
